Supporting Stefan's Journey to the London Marathon
We're incredibly proud to announce that one of our own, Stefan Hall, is gearing up to take on the challenge of a lifetime – running the London Marathon in just 4 days!
Stefan, fondly known as the "silent assassin" around Trucklink, has been with us for 4 years, demonstrating professionalism and dedication in everything he does. But beyond the office, Stefan's passion lies in long-distance running and supporting his local football teams.
For the past 20 weeks, Stefan has been following a strict training regime, all in preparation for this monumental event. His goal? Not only to achieve a personal milestone but also to raise funds for LOROS, a local hospice close to his heart.
LOROS provides invaluable care and support to adult patients facing cancer, progressive neurological conditions, and end-stage organ failure, as well as their families.
Megan Whittaker, a spokesperson for LOROS, noted:
Here at LOROS we're delighted that Stefan has chosen to raise funds for us whilst taking on this incredible challenge. Runners just like Stefan have enabled us to do amazing things here at the hospice and we hope that 2024 is as much of a success.
Each year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland but without people like Stefan taking on challenges like this, we wouldn’t be able to continue doing what we do. So from all of us, thank you!
