On this day in 2019, Trucklink EU brought to a close a 6 year stay in Ashby-De-La-Zouch and relocated to Glenfield, Leicestershire, this came mainly as a result of the company's expansion and the need to further improve our facilities to aid the growth we was experiencing.
This anniversary offers us an opportunity to reflect on the major milestones the business has surpassed in the last 12 months and how this year has changed the way we think and the way we operate.
The new facility on The Mill Lane Industrial Estate had given us the platform to expand our footprint and service offerings. The first six months of operation out of Glenfield allowed us to explore new services and new ways of providing solutions for our customers, this allowed the business to grow by over 25%.

In October 2019, we invested in the Pall-Ex Group, and become proud shareholder members of the number one pallet network for quality.
January 2020 - March 2020 saw our healthiest start to a calendar year ever, however a national lockdown imposed by the UK Government due to the Coronavirus changed the business world and the way we operate, some of the business nosedived, however the senior management team acted quickly to consolidate and change the working environment in an attempt to sustain the company's long term future, protecting the workforce now become the priority.
