MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 2020

Between 18th and 24th May 2020, the country will be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, which this year arguably has even greater importance, as a result of the troubled times we are experiencing as a nation.

With many unable to socialise, and a large number of people isolated and lonely as a result, the impact that the coronavirus pandemic continues to have on people’s mental health is substantial and just one more reason that Trucklink EU is proud to be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week.

The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness – something that we’ve seen in abundance during the past month or so.

Kindness has been chosen as a theme because kindness strengthens relationships, develops community and deepens solidarity; all of which have a positive impact on mental health.

We’re encouraging as many of our employees, customers and working partners to join us in supporting Mental Health Awareness Week – which you can do by sharing materials available by clicking here.

The Mental Health Foundation have a host of resources available for anybody that wants to get involved in Mental Health Awareness Week, including their ‘Take Action, Get Active’ programme, which encourages you to be kind to yourself, by being active for 30 minute each day, something that is proven to improve mood and mental wellbeing.
