Working within our driving team, you’ll be a key part of Trucklink's core operation.
​
In order to be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:
-
Over 25 years of age
-
Minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience
-
No more than 6 points on your licence
-
No previous drink driving and/or drug convictions
-
No criminal record
-
Must have up to date driver CPC
​
In keeping with accepted principles of good working practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties, as directed by your line manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Trunking work and customer collections inclusive of trailer swaps
-
Ensure that goods are safely secured
-
Completed all necessary paperwork
-
Ensures deliveries are on time
-
Responsibility to make sure all vehicle systems are working and the vehicle is legal, roadworthy and complies with the organisation’s procedures and all relevant legal, safety and operating requirements
-
Ensure compliance with Working Term Directive and Tachograph regulations
-
Prepare the vehicle for driving, at all times, ensuring a high standard is maintained

To take appropriate action when problems arise with obtaining information on the load, destination or

Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean, tidy and washed regularly
