We’re taking off with LOROS Hospice next summer for Rocket Round Leicester!

Something out of this world is coming to Leicester!

Trucklink EU are over the moon to be the Official logistics Partner of Rocket Round Leicester - A spectacular public art event that will blast its way across the city for 10 weeks in summer 2021. It will be the biggest that Leicester has as ever seen!

LOROS Hospice is working with leading art event producers Wild in Art to create the 10-week trail which will comprise 40 giant, spectacularly-decorated Rockets touching down across Leicester.

Leicester will be brought to life by an out of this world trail of giant and spectacular Rocket sculptures that will form a stunning, free art trail through the city’s streets and open spaces, bringing together the community for an unforgettable event.

Each Rocket will be designed by a professional artist and sponsored by local businesses. With a likely footfall of around 300,000 people, bringing in an expected £6 million to the local economy, Rocket Round Leicester will form a pivotal part of the city’s post-pandemic economic recovery, as well as a brilliant day out for everyone. The trail launches on Monday 19th July – before blasting off on Sunday 26th September 2021.

After this, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at a Farewell Event, before each Rocket is auctioned to raise funds for LOROS Hospice to enable them to continue to care for over 2,500 terminally ill local people. This unique event is brought to you and the city of Leicester by Wild in Art and LOROS Hospice and we want you to take the leap with us and help us reach the stars!
